TVI responsibilities may include:

Placements are typically local to where professionals live. When travel is required based on district needs, Compass Therapy Solutions provides a travel stipend. Virtual placements are used only when an in-person provider cannot be located, ensuring continuity of vision services for schools and students.
  • Providing direct instruction in compensatory skills, including Braille and assistive technology
  • Supporting visual efficiency and access to instructional materials
  • Recommending and implementing accommodations and modifications
  • Collaborating with special education teams, general education teachers, O&M specialists, and families

Paid Time Off (PTO)
