Orientation & Mobility Specialists at Compass Therapy Solutions play a critical role in supporting students with visual impairments to move safely and independently within school, home, and community settings. O&M Specialists work directly in schools to assess travel skills, provide individualized instruction, and collaborate with educational teams to support student independence.
O&M responsibilities may include:
Placements are typically local to where professionals live. When travel is required based on district needs, Compass Therapy Solutions provides a travel stipend. Virtual placements are used only when an in-person provider cannot be located, ensuring continuity of mobility services for schools and students.
